Hour 1

:00 - A rebroadcast from Johnny Mercer Theater in Savannah, Georgia featuring the man, "who doesn't realize women put their hands on everyone when they talk to them...."

:01 - All The News That Wasn't from Savannah. It's noon at the garden of good and evil, Michael is the bird boy, and yes, he'd like something to drink!

:12 - Guest interview with The Lady Chablis, performer and author of "Hiding My Candy." You know it's hard to look good this early in the morning -- but a few essentials were left out since this is radio. The Lady Chablis is her own creation, and so far it's pretty good.

:26 - A jazzy interlude with John, Jeff, and Clyde covering Johnny Mercer.

:33 - In the audience Michael finds out the special at the hardware store, how to spot the former Milwaukean, and what's the deal with the hanging chads?

:40 - The Four Disclaimers and the Whad'Ya Know? Quiz with Mark and Josh who know how to express illness and can quote Bagger Vance. Ooops, didn't mean to make that little slip-up during the Disclaimers....

Hour 2

:00 - Back in Savannah for the second hour of this rebroadcast with the man, "who can't remember where he laid his candy...."

:01 - Guest musician Emma Kelly. Unfortunately Emma passed away in 2001, but this Lady of 6000 Songs was a wonderful addition to this broadcast in 2000. Emma took a few requests, let's enjoy "Hard-Hearted Hannah," "Moon River," and some other great tunes.

:10 - Guest interview with Preston Russell, doctor, artist, and historian who wrote "Savannah: A History of Her People Since 1733." It's a long and colorful history with industrial achievements, yellow fever, and a big fire. Sorry, most of the old families are gone now....unless your last name is the same as your first.

:29 - The Whad'Ya Know? Trio covers another Johnny Mercer tune.

:33 - In the audience Michael gets the inside story on why these men watch the Weather Channel, maybe it is the presenter. Marybeth and her husband RAF who was named for the Royal Air Force. He's not tired of this story, either.

:41 - Whad'Ya Know? Quiz with Linda and Diane who can do the electoral math, selling whiskey during Prohibition and the Savannah Sand Gnats. Let's impress Mom!

:50 - Guest interview with Paula Deen from The Lady and Sons restaurant. Mmmmmm Gooey Lemon Cake and more delicious items. Find out more about Paula Deen at The Food Network web site.
