Hour 1

:00 - A bad joke, program opening, sponsors, and the man "whose entire crop of tomatoes thickened one serving of spaghetti...."

:01 - All The News That Wasn't

:05 - Guest Interview -- Composer/Musician Randy Newman

:17 - Enough with the Faust stuff, let's get in a romantic mood with John and Jeff E. playing "Love is a Many Splendored Thing."

:23 - Now that the audience is awake and getting into it, let's try that monologue again. But first, how about a chat with Chris who is looking to move from Library Tech 3 to Library Specialist 1 -- moving from the top of one heap to the bottom of another. Then meet Jeff who loves Kindergarten, and some other young people who don't know what to say when someone says, "My, you've grown." Listen in for Michael's thoughts on when it is time to slap some hands.

:35 - Four Disclaimers and the Whad'Ya Know? Quiz Harry and Bob take their chances at the Whad'Ya Know? Quiz. Having extensive knowledge of Sheryl Crow lyrics, which was a good year for tree rings, and unrelieved stress in g.p. patients, these gentlemen are on their way to being big winners!

:55 - Get your tickets for the Savannah road show! Jim Packard gives you the details. Then enjoy some tunes until the end of the hour.

Hour 2

:00 - Program opening, sponsors, and the man "whose medical records nobody wants to see...."

Presidential politics drifts into a discussion of medical procedures. It's quite the conversation. If you want to know more than anyone ever would about Presidential fitness and Michael's recent "procedure" then listen in.

:05 - Thanks for the Memos -- The Bright Side of Downsizing

:09 - No, it's not the theme from Woody Woodpecker, it's "Groovin' High" from John and Jeff E.

:13 - Michael finds writers, students, soccer players, and plant breeders filling the audience. Listen in for Jennifer who would cast Michael in a Woody Allen film, Tom who is doing some ornamental carrots on the side, Victoria who has pups in the car, and Cyrus who plans on making money playing soccer.

:28 - Whad'Ya Know? Quiz Joe, a bridge to the 21st century and Marianne who does secretarial work for shekels are the contestants this hour. Display your knowledge of Edgar Allen Poe's death, husbands who want to "fix" their wives, spelling, and the dimensional reductions of mummies with this round of the quiz.

:48 - Town of the Week -- Raton, New Mexico

:56 - Get your tickets to a live Madison broadcast, or just groove out to these tunes from John and Jeff.
