Hour 1

:00 - A bad joke, program opening, sponsors, and the man "who's on everybody's short list....."

: 01 - All The News That Wasn't

:05 - Hotline--Nice Lawyers

:17 - First, a brief discussion of John's hair care products. Then we're ready to move on to this number, one of John's tunes that he wrote for Jeff titled "The Chimp."

:23 - The quilter in the audience isn't quilting right now, because she wants to pay attention to the show. No, she didn't steal the log cabin design from the syrup bottle. Is Michael’s performance natural or is it supported by medication? You'll have to listen in to find out what really makes Michael tick....and learn more about the sticky stuff that takes care of the gypsy moths.

:36 - The Four Disclaimers and the Whad'Ya Know? Quiz with Margaret who knows more about the origins of tortellini than anyone should, and Hal who is a computer support guy who could pretend he's your husband for just a moment. If you're up on species of chickens and attracting crabs of the opposite shell, then you're going to be a big winner.

Hour 2

:00 - Program opening, sponsors and the man "who's been on "time out" ever since he discovered his inner child..."

:01 - Thanks for the Memos -- Fire Drill

First, here's a little bit of embarrassing news about Wisconsin. Since the University signed an exclusive contract with Reebok to outfit the sports teams, the professors will be paid on Reebok scale--about 14 cents per hour, or so it seems.

Then, it's more that a wash job in Kansas City, Kansas, it's a straw poll system for the upcoming election. West Heights Car Wash has their car wash bays labeled for you to pick your candidate. Pull your car into the Clinton bay, the Dole bay, or the Mickey Mouse bay to show your political affiliation.

:05 - "I Concentrate On You" from J&J

:11 - Michael finds the master of destruction in the audience, but he doesn't bring his work home. He's a gentleman who used to work on incendiary bombs and poison gas, who now stays home and wreaks havoc with household chemicals (well, he could if he wanted to). Then Michael is saving a few calls for this audience member who wants the folks to know that they made it to Madison to see Whad'Ya Know?, plus greetings to all the nieces and nephews. Then a not-so-quick-lesson on using bifocals from an audience member who just needs you to hold that back just a little further.....

:27 - The Whad'Ya Know? Quiz with Janet who teaches elementary music and the third Sylvia who knows her cities in Mississippi, at least their correct pronunciation. Sylvia and Janet are working together to figure out who is behind the counter at a deli for $60,000, how many men have hosiery frequent-buyer cards in their wallets, and how many folks think they are the parents of the dog. Even with one question thrown out, they're on their way to winning the motherlode.....

:49 - Town of the Week--Round Rock, Texas
