Hour 1

:00 - Program opening, sponsors, and the man "who has the world on a string, sitting on a rainbow..."

:01 - All The News That Isn't

:05 - Guest Interview with author/Groucho Marx biographer Stefan Kanfer

:27 - A few ruminations on the Harry Potter fascination, and then a song from the band. Joining John Thulin this week is bassist Jeff Hamman. John wasn't reading books like Harry Potter when he was a kid, but he wasn't practicing piano, either. You'd never know, just listen in to "Bule For Philly Joe."

:32 - Michael finds a Harry Potter fan in the audience, who would like to correct Michael, the book has 732 pages! Then one of John Thulin's piano students of yesteryear is here and he'd like a refund on those lessons. If that's not enough, listen in to find out what is up with those fish in Lake Monona.

:45 - Four Disclaimers and the Whad'Ya Know? Quiz Will Steve and Bud win some great prizes? Only if they know to what moniker activists want to change the name of the Green Bay Packers and what flight attendants are up in arms about. Play along!

Hour 2

:00 - Program opening and sponsors.

:01 - Let's finish that Quiz from the first hour.

:05 - Thanks For The Memos--Stop that Door!

:07 - It's definitely wedding season in Wisconsin, but John can't remember what music he played at the last wedding gig he did. It probably wasn't this one, "My Man's Gone Now" by Gershwin.

:15 - Folks are here to kill some time before they head out to some weddings in town. Listen in as Michael searches the audience for a bridesmaid. Then, if you know the way to Hayward, Wisconsin there's someone here who needs directions. She's only seen the place on the Internet. If you think there isn't enough Polka played on the radio, you're not tuning in to Polkalodeon on WTCM AM 580 out of Traverse City, MI. Polka Host Steve Barber is here to reveal the finer points of Oompa vs. Cleveland vs. Push.

:25 - Whad'Ya Know? Quiz with Liz and Don

Michael will get around to the Quiz once massage therapist Liz is done working on his trapezius. Playing along with Liz is Don the corporate lawyer from Memphis. They know about clouds, they know about Halos, but will they win the quiz? Listen and play along.

:47 - Town of the Week--Medina, Ohio

:58 - Let's throw the dart and head to Cheboygan, MI for our Town of the Week on July 22nd.
