Last Dinner on the Titanic

If you're going down with the ship, you'd better enjoy your last meal. Well, Michael didn't go down with the ship, but he did have a taste of the delicacies the First-Class Titanic passengers enjoyed as their last dinner.

Knute Apitz, owner of Grenadier's Restaurant in Milwaukee, put together a dinner to remember, for a night to remember.

Michael and guest were served the menu items marked with an asterik (*). The wine served was a 1996 Ockfener Bockstein Riesling Kabinett.

First Course - Hors D'Oeuvre
     Oysters a la Russe*

Second Course - Soup
     Consomme Olga

Third Course - Fish
     Poached Salmon with Mousseline Sauce*

Fouth Course - Entree
     Chicken Lyonnaise

Fifth Course - Removers
     Lamb with Mint Sauce

     Creamed Carrots
