The Wisconsin Union Theater The Wisconsin Union Theater, part of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has been graced by some of the world's greatest during its 57 years of existence.

Itzhak Perlman has appeared here 7 times so far, John F. Kennedy was just a senator in 1958 when he spoke here, Martin Luther King, Jr. gave an electrifying speech in 1962, Joan Baez performed barefoot on stage in 1962, and Louis Armstrong played here repeatedly between 1953 and 1957.
