Jerry and Karen are on the line from the Fox River Valley of Wisconsin. The Lake Winnebago sturgeon fishing season starts next Saturday morning, and it's a crazy time out on the ice. It takes a lifetime to catch a sturgeon, but that doesn't mean you can't get one the first time out. The good water clarity this year means it will be a busy season. Put down your decoy, maybe a white enamel kettle or a piece of pipe that's brightly colored. Once you spear it you've got to get the pressure washer and clean off the slime, then skin it through the tough hide, then cut out all the fat.
