Thanks for the Memos

Some time ago, about 1985, someone sent a memo from a hospital pathology unit, which described the conversion of the men's toilet into a doctor's office and the domino effect it had on the elevator's transformation into the autopsy dressing room. Needless to say, I was hooked: "Thanks for the Memos" was born.

Since that fateful moment I have received (which is not to say kept, as it quickly begins to get ridiculous) some six or seven thousand memos. This section is dedicated to the pursuit of memos. Browse our offerings and be sure to send us your own additions.

First, a listener letter expressing the view that the quiz would be better if the audience stayed out of it. But, don't you like to hear people win? Then the insurance office sends this memo about adding damage to your vehicle. Love your job? Then respond to this memo about why you like to come to work.
