Thanks for the Memos
Memo Clearinghouse
July 17, 1999
Michael held onto these for a while, and like a fine wine or cheese, they
have ripened nicely with age.
- Helen Wait
The applications Manager sent this memo around about Project Resource
Management: If you have a resource problem or need urgent maintenance
help, please go to Helen Wait.
- Simulated Stroke
A document proposing convention booth ideas for a pharmaceutical convention
for doctors and managed care professionals contained this suggestion:
Create a virtual reality booth so that attendees can experience a stroke
and then return to normal functioning.
- Anaconda Attack!
An excerpt from the US Government Peace Corps Manual detailing what to do
if an anaconda attacks you. Related to the boa constrictor, the anaconda
is the largest snake species in the world measuring 35 feet long and
weighing 300-400 pounds. Do not run, do not panic, and let the snake suck
you up slowly, feet first. Remember, no panicking. Last, but not least, be
sure to have your knife, and be sure it is sharp.
