Thanks for the Memos
Tomorrow we will begin the remodeling program for our office. It will have some structural changes around the reception area, operations area and near Julie's desk. It will be carpeted, painted, wallcovered and generally made neat and new. None of this effort will be of any value if we return to our old ways. Piling up old research, charts, statements or anything else on the floor is forever more verboten. There is a close kinship between people who tape things to the Walls of their offices and people who put cars on blocks in their front yards. NO MORE! If it isn't framed, don't put it on your wall. If you have things that you would like to occasionally refer back to, I will be glad to supply you with a clipboard. Consider the appearance you present to your visitors. Would you tape stuff to your living room wall? Enough said. Get ready. Anything on the floor will be pitched. Anything taped to walls will be thrown out. Painting will begin Thursday.
